For the 2021 baseball season we are seeking writers to cover the Cleveland franchise in the following areas

• Cleveland Indians
• Columbus Clippers
• Akron RubberDucks
• Lynchburg Hillcats
• Lake County Captains

We are looking for college students seeking a writing internship that we can provide signatures for a credit for, or writers who are looking for experience to build their resume with.

Writers should close enough to these cities to cover games in person. We have relationships with each of these teams and can provide a full media credential for the minor league teams, and potentially a media credential for Indians games based on writers experience level.

Additionally we are also looking for:

• Writers with experience or interest in writing about baseball analytics
• News and game coverage
• Photographer/Videographer

These positions are contingent on the hope that there will be a normal baseball season to cover in 2021.

IBI has a loyal following and should improve with the return of a potentially normal baseball season, especially minor league baseball. Over the years, writers and staff members of IBI have gone on to several media outlets with full time work at:

• The Chagrin Valley Times
